Men involved included Peter Force (1790 - 1868) ; Henry Stevens (1791 - 1867) ; Henry Stevens Jr. (1819 - 1886) ; Enos Stevens (1816 - 1827), who taught school in Paradise, Pennsylvania from 1838 - 1846 ; Simon Stevens (1825 - 1894) ; Frank Stevens (1827 - 1892) ; Thaddeus Stevens (1792 - 1868) ; and William Augustus Atlee (d. 1793).
