Rockland and Green playground. Shows baby swings that were removed by the Department of Parks placed in holes and left standing witout applying concrete. The result is that older boys pulled the swings over and bent the brace pipes.
Pfc. Clyde Dixon, a 19-year-old resident of 329 Locust Street, coaches the Rockland and Green Streets Playground softball team (the Rockets) during his 30 day furlough from World War II.
