Release by Mary E. Dunham, one of the legatees in the will of James Buchanan, that she received $22,221.66 in full satisfaction of the terms of the will. 11 September 1869, in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Lancaster. Registered on 5 May 1870. Release by David Bair, president of the board of trustees of the English Presbyterian Church in the city of Lancaster, that he received $940.00 in cash as legacy from the will of James Buchanan. 14 October 1869. Lancaster. Recorded 5 May 1870.

This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009.
