Renunciations are papers filed in the Orphans' Court by executors of an estate who do not wish to administer that estate. Three versions of Harriet Lane Johnston’s immediate distribution from James Buchanan’s will:
(1) Judge Black’s version, with Mrs. Johnston receiving $14,605.33 in cash,
(2) Mrs. Johnston’s version, with her receiving, in addition to the valuation of Wheatland, $18,605.33 in cash, and
(3) the version of the executors, E. Y. Buchanan and J. B. Henry, with, after the subtraction of $12,000 for the valuation of Wheatland, Mrs. Johnston receiving $6,605.33 in cash. Lancaster.
