Bernard Hubley, guardian of Catharine Reinick, received an annuity payment from John Hubley, which was presented with his receipt of the payment from David Rittenhouse on 18 April 1789.
Admin/Biographical History
Catharine Reinick was the daughter of Dr. Christian Reinick. Dr. Reinick served as Surgeon's Mate in the 1st Pennsylvania Regiment during the Revolutionary War. He was killed in the Battle of Paoli, Chester County, 1777.

Agreement between William Hamilton and Jacob Krug respecting the wood and timber on Hamilton's Lancaster estate between Harris's Ferry and Wright's Ferry. Krug paid Hamilton for the timber rights from 17 October 1789 to 1 May 1791. Prepared by Jasper Yeates.

Description
Letter from Col. James Wood in Lancaster to Joseph Reed, President of Pennsylvania's Supreme Executive Council, regarding British prisoners of war and the overcrowded conditions of the barracks at Lancaster. Col. Wood provides an estimate of the number of soldiers with the British Army, as well as women and children traveling with them that must be accommodated; expresses the need for lumber for temporary shelters and a hospital; detail regarding the Continental and militia troops onsite as guards and who will be moving seamen to a barracks in Philadelphia; and requests instructions from Read on how to proceed.
