Letter to Jasper Yeates from Joseph Swift
Description
Letter to Jasper Yeates in Lancaster from Joseph Swift in Philadelphia regarding his son's education and recommendations from Jasper and Sarah Yeates. This letter and a copy of George Henry's lease were conveyed to Lancaster by Thomas Hartley. Henry has not paid rent, has harvested the timber, and let the buildings fall into disrepair. He also inquired after a deed from John Morris Jr. to John Swift and Joseph Swift, which was to be delivered by Mr. Parr. He mentions Mr. Parr's death and his daughter's declining health.
