Description
Letter from Campbell & Lamberton, Clarion, Pa., to James Buchanan updating the situation on the sale of some of the Lucinda land sold by Nathan Evans secured by judgment bonds signed by Lewis Mahle with five annual repayments to Buchanan and Samuel Reynolds; other contracts for the furnace lands now held by the company; money will be placed in a Pittsburgh bank; a copy of a note by Buchanan agreeing to the suggestions appears on the back of the letter.
