Involves bequeaths from her father, James Buchanan, and her mother, Elizabeth Buchanan. Also mentioned in the agreement are her sister, Harriett Henry, and her brother, the Reverend Edward Y. Mary Speer also has notes written on the letter regarding her meeting with Mrs. J. L. Whistler to give her Harriet Johnston’s sable stole in exchange for Harriet Johnston’s pearl earrings.
