Mochaware mustard pot with lid
Description
Slip decorated mochaware with dendritic patterns in dark brown on pearlware body (A) with lid (B). Slip banded with broad orange-brown band and dark brown borders. Applied rolled handle with shaped, decorated terminals. Slightly domed lid has two bands of dark brown and one of orange-brown, with round finial and cutaway for spoon.
Removed label "Mocha 5B". Remaining tape label on lid is "2082 J. B. Morris, Jr."
