Jehile B. Kirkhuff was 1954 World champion Old-Time Fiddler (contest held in Texas USA). He was a mentor to Roy Zimmerman.
Black leather case with "City Band/ Lancaster" in white cut-out leather letters on front fold-over cover. Metal button at bottom front inside for fastening. Inside pocket/container is about 6.25-inches wide & 1.25-inches deep. Wide 3-inch high leather loop on back so case can be held/suspended on a belt or rod.

Leather brittle,dirty and cracked. Some paint coming off; some evidence of mildew in back. Missing button loop.
Six part wooden clarinet with five levered metal keys and 8 finger holes. Ivory-colored bands at each of the five joins. Maker's marks stamped onto instrument in five places.
