Description: Letter from J. B. Henry to Louisa Anderson expressing disappointment that her health keeps her from accompanying him on their summer trip, but will continue on his present trip going from Lake George by train to Boston, then by ship to Portland and visit Mt. Desert; mentions the heat in Brattleboro and dislikes the town; misses her very much. On hotel stationery. Envelope [yellow] hotel address with postmark and stamp removed. Brooks House, Brattleboro, Vermont, Sunday, [3 August] 1873.
