Dunham, one of the legatees in the will of James Buchanan, that she received $22,221.66 in full satisfaction of the terms of the will. 11 September 1869, in Crawford County, Pennsylvania. Lancaster. Registered on 5 May 1870. Release by David Bair, president of the board of trustees of the English Presbyterian Church in the city of Lancaster, that he received $940.00 in cash as legacy from the will of James Buchanan. 14 October 1869. The bottom halves of two pages from the Lancaster Inquirer. First page contains a an article on Lincoln’s progress to the White House for his inauguration and a short notice of Buchanan returning to Wheatland. The second page was published the next week and continues with Lincoln’s progress to Washington, D.C. Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

The back page shows an exterior view of the railroad station with well-wishers and an interior view of the reception within, with a commentary of the festivities and those attending. New York.~Copy 1 comprises pages 217-218 and 231-232 and is torn around the edges.~Copy 2 is the entire issue containing numerous pictures of Wheatland, his dog Lara, personal items, Buchanan in front of the national capitol (full-page) and four scenes in Lancaster.~Copy 3 is the entire uncut issue.

Renunciations are papers filed in the Orphans' Court by executors of an estate who do not wish to administer that estate. They show the name of the decedent, the decedent's place of residence, the name of the person renouncing administration, the name of the replacement administrator to be appointed, and date. The relationship between the decedent, the executor, and the administrator is usually shown. Arranged chronologically and then alphabetically within each year.
