Letter from E. Y. Buchanan to H. B. Swarr asking that his nephew James B. Weaver be advanced $100 from the estate since his job in New York pays only $7 per week; noting that the wedding “passed off very pleasantly” with a number of out-of-town guests, but regretting that the animosity between him and the Johnstons prevented him from inviting them; and sending regards to Mrs. Swarr and Miss Sallie.
