Letter from Mary Hagner Nicholson Henry to J. B. Henry saying that she has gotten over homesickness and likes Mr. Punnett and his aunt now; asks that potatoes, apples, butter, and maple syrup be sent down; Mary Esther is much improved after marrying the minister Mr. Punnett, whose sermon lacked content but had great delivery; has invited them to Staten Island; Bucky is keeping her busy but isn’t walking yet; hopes Bridget and Annie leave her some grapes; and is angry with Mr. Sharff for misdirecting Aunt Lue’s letter to her when he knows Uncle Peter is at home. No place. Circa [1861] Year from age of child.
