Description
This collection contains genealogical data, Civil War Widow's Pension receipts, Lancaster city tax receipts of the family of John and Catharine Robinson, an affidavit of the birth of Anna Duke Krauskop, and an itinerary and program of the Liberty Bell's journey to the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco in 1915.
Admin/Biographical History
John Robinson (1826-1866) married Catharine Burns on 9 March 1851. Their daughter, Susan (b. 1851), married Lewis Krauskop. John Robinson served in Co. B, First Pennsylvania Reserves, in the Civil War.

Estate inventory of Owin O'Neall
Description
Inventories of estates show name of decedent and township, date filed, itemized list of possessions and assets, appraised valuation, and signatures and affidavit of appraisers and administrators. Administrators' Accounts and Administrators' Bonds are also filed with this collection prior to 1776. Other estate related papers sometimes included before 1776 were: Orphans' Court papers, Renunciations, and Vendue Lists. Inventories were sometimes filed with the wills and may be at the courthouse. Appraisers often included widow's allotments in the inventories. Any additional information such as occupation, cause of death, or the listing of enslaved persons or indentured servants are noted in the database.
Prior to 1752, documents between the months of January and March were subject to double dating, as a result of the conflict between the Julian and Gregorian calendars. Therefore, documents filed between 1 January and 25 March have two years listed; one from the old Julian calendar and one from the new Gregorian calendar.

Description
Genealogy and ephemera from the Welsh family Bible. A portion of The Holy Bible, Kimber & Sharpless' Edition. published in Philadelphia in 1850 by Jesper Harding. The section in this collection consists of 4 and 2/3 chapters of Maccabees I and 15 chapters of Maccabees II, as well as the records of births, deaths, and marriages of family members, beginning with Annie Eunice Young Welsh's parents and running through the death of Annie's daughter-in-law, Emilie Benson Welsh, in 1938. Tucked in the back cover is a notice of a memorial service for Lillian Welsh. Note: The date of the Bible, and the family records it contains suggest that this was acquired by Thomas Welsh and Annie Young when they were married on October 24, 1850.
Admin/Biographical History
Thomas Welsh (1824-1863) was a Lancaster County native (born and raised in Columbia), who rose from hardscrabble origins to local fame, first as a Mexican War hero, and then as a brigadier general during the Civil War. He was well known and well respected as a no nonsense officer, for his leadership and gallantry in battle, for his dedication to the service of his country, and for his concern for the welfare of his men. The Partition Docket records the division of land between the listed parties, gives the date, book number and page number, describes some properties and the value, and records the action taken. The Ejectment Docket records give the date and judgments for one case.
