Description
This collection contains genealogical data, Civil War Widow's Pension receipts, Lancaster city tax receipts of the family of John and Catharine Robinson, an affidavit of the birth of Anna Duke Krauskop, and an itinerary and program of the Liberty Bell's journey to the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco in 1915.
Admin/Biographical History
John Robinson (1826-1866) married Catharine Burns on 9 March 1851. Their daughter, Susan (b. 1851), married Lewis Krauskop. John Robinson served in Co. B, First Pennsylvania Reserves, in the Civil War.

Front cover has "Purchase Book", "David H. Brubaker", "Lancaster, Pa, R.#3" and 19"20" written on it. Last page has "account of eggs for Dec" written on it.
Book references money paid and received for products associated with pigs, cows and chickens, e.g. sucking pigs, corn chops, salt, Sally cow & calf, Jersey cow, milk, milk strainer pads, chicken feed, oysters shells, eggs, mash, etc. and items such as Eli Kauffman Brooder Stove, thermometer, etc.

Description
Genealogy and ephemera from the Welsh family Bible. A portion of The Holy Bible, Kimber & Sharpless' Edition. published in Philadelphia in 1850 by Jesper Harding. The section in this collection consists of 4 and 2/3 chapters of Maccabees I and 15 chapters of Maccabees II, as well as the records of births, deaths, and marriages of family members, beginning with Annie Eunice Young Welsh's parents and running through the death of Annie's daughter-in-law, Emilie Benson Welsh, in 1938. Tucked in the back cover is a notice of a memorial service for Lillian Welsh. Note: The date of the Bible, and the family records it contains suggest that this was acquired by Thomas Welsh and Annie Young when they were married on October 24, 1850.
Admin/Biographical History
Thomas Welsh (1824-1863) was a Lancaster County native (born and raised in Columbia), who rose from hardscrabble origins to local fame, first as a Mexican War hero, and then as a brigadier general during the Civil War. He was well known and well respected as a no nonsense officer, for his leadership and gallantry in battle, for his dedication to the service of his country, and for his concern for the welfare of his men.
