Lane, Frederick Brown, Esq., George Plitt, Esquire, or Robert Tyler, Esquire. Three from James Buchanan carry his signature and free franking, one has an intact seal; 2 others carry intact seals; 3 carry stamps; 2 are marked “paid”; 7 carry postmarks; and one has no markings.

She reminds him of the medals she earned at school and asks him to take her to historic Northern towns when Congress adjourns.
