Acknowledgment that Jasper Yeates and John Wilkes Kittera tendered a deed to Sebastian Graff and Joseph Hubley from John Stauffer at John Tressler's office. Signed by John Joseph Henry and John Miller. 13 October 1790.
Note added by Jasper Yeates that they also tendered a deed to Mr. Lowry at Mr. Kittera's office in the presence of his clerks, [ ] Ross and [ ] Henderson. 16 October 1790.

Owner not identified. This could be Dr. Emanuel R. Hershey, Pharmacist (2 May 1847 - 22 October 1921), buried in the Paradise Cemetery. His father , Abraham Hershey (16 August 1819 - 18 December 1886) at his death had three tracts of land, two of them with improvements. Emanuel was the oldest son and may have kept these records.

Description
This record group contains canceled orders that were issued by the county commissioners for payment to be made by the county treasurer. The orders show date, order number, amount, name of payee, purpose, and signatures of the county commissioners. In the case of "poor children," teachers were reimbursed by the county for tuition and/or the supplies purchased for students whose parents were unable to pay. Orders include: Poor Children, Almshouse, Bridges, Coroners' Inquests, Prisons, Roads, Court House, and Tax Exonerations.

The orders show date, order number, amount, name of payee, purpose, and signatures of the county commissioners. In the case of "poor children," teachers were reimbursed by the county for tuition and/or the supplies purchased for students whose parents were unable to pay. Orders include: Poor Children, Almshouse, Bridges, Coroners' Inquests, Prisons, Roads, Court House, and Tax Exonerations.
