Thirteen envelopes from James Buchanan addressed to H. B. Swarr, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Two with seals. All have notes by Mr. Swarr recording the dates received and from whom; one postmarked Bedford, Pennsylvania with a 3-cent stamp; one from Theo. Costello listing interest owed James Buchanan; and one from W. J. S. Stahr listing interest owed James Buchanan.

Statement listing lots #1-15 in Orange Street part of the estate of the late E. E. Lane: Lots #1-3 sold to Thos. D. Kelly; lots #4-6 sold to Jno. K. Bitner; lots #7-8 sold to W. W. Hensel; lots #9-10 sold to Geo. K. Reed, and lots #11-15 sold to Hirsh Brothers for a total of $4427.20. H. B. Swarr (attorney for Harriet Lane Johnston) acknowledges receiving $2213.60 from S. H. Reynolds for R. S. Jenkins on 2 April 1869.
