Swarr saying that he has dealt with the affairs of Mrs. Dunham and asked her to name a person to handle a power of attorney; that Gaw Bacon & Co are holding all securities until the rate improves; that he prefers to visit Lancaster when Mr. Johnston is not there; that Jessie Magaw has written asking for $100 to help her parents; and that he is glad to learn that Mr. Howell is getting a solid block of marble for the monument and hopes to see Mr. Howell in Lancaster. Hecker whom she has recommended, is sufficient to enter satisfaction on her mortgage; discussing an enquiry from his son James about whether James Buchanan owned land in Forest County; and promising to send the check to Jessie Magaw.
