Two and a half story brick house with white picket fence. Written on back: "Rev. Jacob Bowman built this house in 1854 - lived, prior to this and after marriage, in a very old house back of house in this picture. This house was burned partly out in about 1870 from fire used in attic smokehouse - stone and brick intact - rebuilt interior. Home sold 1869 to Emanuel Harnish."
