Henry thanking him for the autographs, especially of James Buchanan; congratulates on his prospects of success; Aunt Clemmie is still in Washington; Uncle Alfred is now stationed in Philadelphia; many people in Washington are in mourning for their sins; thinks Harriet has not arranged her plans yet; [Gussic] is visiting from West Point; heard Mme. Alboni in concert but she has no animation; sending a new song called "Spanish Melody" along with a few autographs. Red wax seal removed. Philadelphia.
