He records the temperature and weather conditions everyday. The diary entries show Wallace and his wife taking small trips throughout Pennsylvania.

Rev. Wallace (d.1866) was pastor at Pequea Church, Gap, Lancaster County from 1833-1866. The family is from Chester and Lancaster counties.
