Cornelius Weygandt (1871-1957) was born in Germantown, Pennsylvania, and authored over eighteen books during the course of his life. "Cornelius Weygandt is from Pennsylvania Dutch heritage. He remains the leading authority of all things Pennsylvania Dutch. Weygandt was a decorated Professor of English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was awarded for his greatness in teaching by the Friars Senior Society."
