Description
Bull nose ring from a remarkably huge bull. Ended up at Lancaster stock yards April 1952. Ring was given to Edgar W. Meiser, MD (President of the Board of Health) later that year by a veterinarian on the board. Bull originally from Myer's dairy farm. Cumberland County. Iron ring.
Ring is also accompanied by a black picture frame with a newspaper clipping from April 21, 1952 that discusses the bull who wore the nose ring, and an envelope from the donor elaborating on the ring's origin.
