Summary
Christopher Dock emigrated to the American colonies sometime before 1714. He was a school teacher and farmer in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. He introduced teaching methods that emphasized persuasion, discussion, and positive peer pressure.This was a departure from the more stringent methods in use.
