Description
Collection of items relating to the Society of Seventh Day Baptists and Ephrata Cloister. Legal papers deal with a dispute concerning the election of trustees and mismanagement of the estate. Description
Home at left was business of Mamie Koenig, Pow Wow doctor and fortune teller. Building at right was Reliance Engineer Machine Shop, 700 block of West Vine Street.
Provenance
Photo album entitled "My Cabbage Hill" compiled by Francis X. Schaller, Jr., of photos of the Cabbage Hill neighborhood of Lancaster. Photographs were taken in 2008, but Mr. Schaller's memories of the neighborhood from 1935 to 1948, from the age of 5 to the age of 18, are included. Mr. Schaller is an Armstrong retiree and grew up in the Cabbage Hill neighborhood.
