Mr. Zimmerman was the professional pilot for the company. Mildred Zimmerman was also an accomplished pilot, having trained cadets at Carlisle during the war in the CTP program; having won the Women's altitude record for a light plane at 26,146 feet at the Reading Air Show in 1949; and having flown in the Powder Puff Derby from coast to coast in 1958.
