Description: This collection of Musical Events Programs contains programs for the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, Lancaster Conservatory of Music, Lancaster Community Concert Association, The American Guild of Organists, Pennsylvania Academy of Music, Musical Arts Society, The Oratorio Society, and Lancaster Opera Company. Venues include camp meetings, local schools, churches and the Fulton Opera House. There is also an autographed program for a concert by the Trapp Family Singers in 1949.

Description: British quart-size pewter tankard, part of the Warwick Congregation's (now known as the Brickerville United Lutheran Church) communion service.; Straight-sided body with raised band below center; molded base. Hinged domed lid with erect thumbpiece and C-scroll handle. Applied to front of tankard is a cast decorated portrait medallion with the profiles of a man and a woman facing each other with a crown above their heads. Encircling the pair are the words: "LONG LIVE PRINCE AND PRINCESS OF ORANGE". The medallion commemorates the Prince of Orange (William III) and his wife Mary Stuart, daughter of Charles I of England. The couple ruled England as joint sovereigns 1689-1702.

Provenance: The entire communion service remained in use over the years until the congregation decided in 1997 to find a safe place for this valuable communion set. Purchased by the Heritage Center of Lancaster County.

Description: Pewter basin, part of the Warwick Congregation's (now known as the Brickerville United Lutheran Church) communion service.; High, rounded sides flare out to a flattened rim with rolled edge. Booge appears to be unhammered. Barns struck his large circular mark with an eagle on the inside of bottom. The left portion of the eagle as well as the letters "BAR" on the bottom are discernible, as well as the "HE" above the eagle.; Probably made in Middletown or Wallingford, Connecticut.

There is no top to cover finger tip.; Inscriptions: On opposite sides of the raised edge at bottom are : "GERMANY" and "9".

Beak of bird forms the blades while bird's body leads down to feet resting on handles of oval shaped rings.; Stamped "73" on inside of each blade. One blade has "HORAWOR-"? / CUTLERY CO. / GERMANY" while other blades has "GARLAND / CUTLERY CO."

Description: Folding rule of boxwood with brass hinges and ends. One-foot rule has a brass hinge every three inches, resulting in a compact unit of four wood lengths. Both sides of rule are calibrated with inches; both read from right to left.

Description: Needle book made of printed heavy paper, folded to resemble a book. Advertising item lists coal business on inside.; Blue printed cover has the words "The/HOME NEEDLE/CASE" below an image of little girl with bonnet, holding roses against a floral background. Back cover has a scene of tree, pond, and house in distance. At bottom is "PRINTED IN U.S.A."; Inside at front is an affixed paper packet of needles "SHARP & SON." Five needles remaining. Right side of book interior has printed advertising message with a cartoon image of man driving an early coal truck vehicle. The business is called "UPPER LEHIGH COAL" above image and below image is "SEAMAN & MARTENS" of Atlantic City, NJ.

Description: Thimble of mold-blown clear glass. Classic cone shape but with a frilly scalloped bottom rim. Slightly domed top is dimpled, but walls are smooth.

Provenance: Collected by Lillian Hollings Kiker, born to Scottish Americans who lived in New Jersey. Born (1912) and lived in New Jersey, last of Egg Harbor, she was active with quilting, sewing, knitting & crocheting. Collection inherited by donor when her mother passed away.
