Transcription of the court papers filed in the action by the stockholders of the Marietta & Susquehanna Trading Company against a the appointed Trustees of the Company, Jacob Grosh, Jacob Gish (Gisch), Jacob Mishey (Misher), James Patterson, Jr. and William Child, entrusted to resolve the company, however none of the debts were ever collected. Transcription includes a background, complaint, answer and exhibits. Transcribed by the Clerk of the Circuit Court, David Caldwell.

In an envelope of the Royal Insurance Co. of Liverpool, England, Henry N. Howell, Agent, Lancaster, Pa. On front of envelope: “letter of ‘Colebrook’ to ‘Buchanan’ refers to campaign fight of July 1820.” On back of envelope: “Major Charles M. Howell, Chief Marshall of Puncia.” [1820]
