Penna. and Miss Alice Herr, Creswell, Manor Twp. Lancaster Co. Penna,/ were joined together in Holy Matrimony/ at Creswell, Penna, on the twenty-fifth day of October/ in the year of Our Lord, One Thousand Eight Hundred/ and eight two in accordance with the Laws of the State/ of Pennsylvania and the usages of the Evangelical Association/ Witnesses Frank Stauffer, Rev. Wedding bells on a curved spray of white flowers and a sprig of pink dogwood flowers on the right surround the information: "This certifies/ that/ Ralph W. Walters of West Fairview and Esther C. Removed from endpaper a note by Edward Young Buchanan calculating the length of his marriage to his “darling wife A E.” 31 October 1875-7 April 1891.
