Description
Act to confirm election of trustees of the Second Presbyterian Church signed by Pennsylvania’s Speaker of the House of Representatives, Henry K. Strong, Speaker of the Senate, William Mulhenberg Hiester and Governor, James Pollock . An act to confirm and legalize the election of trustees of the Second Presbyterian Congregation of the City of Lancaster signed by Henry K. Strong, Speaker of the House of Representatives, William M. Hiester, Speaker of the Senate, and James Pollock, Governor, and certified by John M. Sullivan, Deputy Secretary of the Commonwealth confirming the election of several trustees after failing to do so according to the charter of the church. This act upholds the action of the Golden seal with red ribbon on last page. Lancaster, PA.

The central portion consists of four vertical columns listing categories of items for sale: Baskets, Brushes, Whips, Spectacles, Beads, Combs, Jewelry, Brooms, Britannia Ware, Reeds, Cedar Ware, Pocket-books, Wooden Ware, Curls, Japanned Ware, Blinds, Looking-glasses, Cords, Mats, Curled Maple Ware Varnished, Fancy Articles. Brown overall with obvious center crease and some darker spots especially in the right margin. The newsprint has been glued to a piece of Masonite, with edges folded over. They are now loose.
