The McCaa Collection contains the papers of and collected by the family of James McCaa in northeastern Lancaster County. Among the items are account and ledger books, a physician's visiting book, legal papers, deeds, certificates for commissions, receipts, letters, and estate papers.
Letter from E. Y. Buchanan to H. B. Swarr acknowledging the correctness of the statement of their account received on the 26th; noting that Mr. Swarr was correct in not listing payments to Mr. Curtis, Mr. Cadwalader, and the insurance company, since Mr. Curtis does not want his name listed in the account; enclosing a receipt from Mr. Curtis; and planning to get Mr. Curtis’s postscript when next in Lancaster. 1342 Pine Street, Philadelphia.
