The James Buchanan Family Papers were collected by the James Buchanan Foundation for the Preservation of Wheatland. This collection was relocated from the Wheatland mansion to the LancasterHistory archives in the Spring of 2009. Digitization of the James Buchanan Family Papers was funded by the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, PHMC Appl ID # 201808013051, 2019-2020.
Group of 7 bills from Joseph Schell for miscellaneous footwear for members of the family, one letter from H. R. Irving enclosing one of the bills and a receipt Dr. J. J. van Rensselaer. 46 Arrietta Street, Tompkinsvillle, Staten Island, July 1890 – 2 March 1891.

Invitation from Mrs. H. H. Brogden to Mr. and Mrs. J. Buchanan Henry announcing the marriage of Mary Randolph and Mr. Alexander Randall Cheston on Wednesday, 16 Oct 1907 at “Goodwood” Prince George’s County, Maryland; enclosed card stating that the family will be at home after the 16th of December 121 Upsal Street, Germantown, Philadelphia. Envelope with no postmarks or stamps addressed to Mr. and Mrs. J. Buchanan Henry.
