Willson that he has bought Harriet Lane Johnston’s Wheatland estate for $20,000, half to be paid now and the rest in installments; sale includes plants for the garden, bookcases in library, 2 cows, one horse, all farming implements; she may continue occupying the house until 1 July next with free supply of ice, fruit, and vegetables. Approved by Harriet Lane Johnston. Written on Harriet Lane Johnston’s stationery. 120 Park Street, [Baltimore].

Acknowledgment that Jasper Yeates and John Wilkes Kittera tendered a deed to Sebastian Graff and Joseph Hubley from John Stauffer at John Tressler's office. Signed by John Joseph Henry and John Miller. 13 October 1790.
Note added by Jasper Yeates that they also tendered a deed to Mr. Lowry at Mr. Kittera's office in the presence of his clerks, [ ] Ross and [ ] Henderson. 16 October 1790.

Agreement between Elliott T. Lane and James Buchanan concerning funds of Jane B. Lane, Elliott’s wife and James’ sister, and in case she makes no will, how the estate will be divided. Involves bequeaths from her father, James Buchanan, and her mother, Elizabeth Buchanan. Also mentioned in the agreement are her sister, Harriett Henry, and her brother, the Reverend Edward Y. Buchanan, and her four children, James B. Lane, Elliott E. Lane, Mary Elisabeth Lane and Harriett Rebecca Lane. Franklin County, PA.

One pair of Chippendale brass and iron andirons. Contains large reeded ball at top, three graduated small balls center and large ball at base. Snake turned base with two small balls each side of snake turning. Rear of base small turned ball with double column base.

Appraisals include: name of decedent; location and description of real estate; description of personal property; valuation of real estate and personal property; and assessed tax. May also include names of heirs. Arranged chronologically by year, then alphabetically by first letter of decedent's last name. Handwritten; from 1886, handwritten on printed forms.
