Agreement between Elliott T. Lane and James Buchanan concerning funds of Jane B. Lane, Elliott’s wife and James’ sister, and in case she makes no will, how the estate will be divided. Involves bequeaths from her father, James Buchanan, and her mother, Elizabeth Buchanan. Also mentioned in the agreement are her sister, Harriett Henry, and her brother, the Reverend Edward Y. Buchanan, and her four children, James B. Lane, Elliott E. Lane, Mary Elisabeth Lane and Harriett Rebecca Lane. Franklin County, PA.

Bearing assembly. Tag reads "The Star Ball Retainer Co." and accompanying information from the donor found in the object file.
Use in a 1913 district court case: Hess-Bright Mfg. vs Fichtel & Sachs. This ball bearing was "defendents' exhibit brought to the U.S. by Ernst Sachs in 1904." Owned by Jack L. Straub.
Parade Belt presented to Union Fire Company by the "Lady Friends" of the fire company. Leather strap with buckle and holder for flag. Sterling silver sheild attached to leather by to copper rivets. Engraved on shield: "Aug. 14th 1860/Presented by the Lady Friends/ of the Union Fire Co./No. 1/ at their centennial anniversary/ Aug. 14th 1760
Firefighter's belt. A 2.5in wide black leather belt, edges bound i white leather with a zig-zag edge on the front. Center cut-out portion reveals a red background with raised white letters: "WASHINGTON" 3.5in wide moveable slide also bound in white on edges with red cut out background with raised "W F Co" in white letters, On the back, a 9" long x .75in wide belt with 10 holes is attached 10 inches from the rounded end with a small buckle at the tapered opposite end..
Firefighter's belt. A 2.5in wide black leather belt, edges bound in white leather with a zig zag edge on the front. Center cut out portion reveals a red background with raised white letters: "WASHINGTON." A 3.5in wide moveable slide also bound in white on edges with red cut out background with raised "W F Co" in white letters. Belt with holes is detached belt on one end with a small buckle.

A 3.5in wide moveable slide also bound in white on edges with red cut out background with raised "W F Co" in white letters. On the back, a 9.5in long x .75in wide belt with 8 holes is attached 12.5in from the round edge with a small buckle at the tapered/opposite end.
