Unusual but delicious, funnel cake is a Pennsylvania Dutch food specialty to be enjoyed in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Flour, sugar and eggs are used to create a sweetened batter which is pured from a funnel-pitcher into a skillet of hotoil in a swirled pattern. The resulting "squiggly donut" is duested with confectioner's sugar and served warm.
