Charles M. Howell received payment from H. B. Swarr for payments in full, $1908.00 in total, for James Buchanan’s monument, granite posts and setting in Woodward Hill Cemetery. Attached to reverse is a receipt from Jacob F. Kautz for loads of sand. 7 June 1869; 7 July 1869; 12 July 1869.
